lol I beat someone 700 as a 700 via scholars mate because I usually play napoleon and then bring out bishop for a diagonal I never usually plan scholars mate but they blundered themselves into it lmfao
Yay back to 600+ again.
Can't believe I beat two players over 600. And another who was like 590.
I know its still beginner, but it still feels like ive came a long way since getting destroyed by 300s and 400s when i first started

I love playing the Wayward queen attack. It worked a lot in the 400 and 500s. I would often take a free rook so early on

you gain 9 points for beating someone 20% better then you ( not going to happen often)
And only gain 6 points for beating some one 20% worse then you. I think chess.com needs a new algorithm tbf.
Also stale mate needs to be banned from timed chess. its doesnt reflect the skill of the player who owned the opponent.
( can you tell i cant get away from 400 on 5 min chess.? lol)

Nelson.... well... he is like a 900 that highly disrepects you by thinking he could get you with a scholar's mate.
lol, tbh if Nelson wasn't focusing on scholars mate he could be pretty aggressive a lot of my napoleon attack opening games prove it (I basically set up for scholars but I never actually make that my goal, I find the bishop and the queen being in those positions can really force the opponent to be defensive
doesn't matter,when you are 2000 you will not worry about that at all ~
