I don’t get this

In a puzzle I did today, I got it wrong in the first 2 moves(of course) so I checked the answer, and I was very confused about what is the difference between Qc2+ and Qa2+. Instinctively, I picked the correct answer, Qc2+, on the next try, but I am confused what is this difference between them and why is Qa2+ a draw while Qc2 check a win. The puzzle is https://www.chess.com/analysis?fen=7k/1p3r2/p1p1p2B/3pP1Q1/qP1P2p1/2P2rPp/5P1K/3R1R2%20w%20-%20-%206%2037&flip=true

neither Qc2 nor Qa2 are legal moves

pretty sure it's supposed to be black to move so

black moves Rxf2+, Kg1, h2+, Kh1, Rxf1+, Rxf1, Rxf1+, Kxh2, and then after all that comes Qc2+ or Qa2+

In the position that you linked, it's white's turn, and white is winning. Presumably, white makes some move that allows the whole thing, but nobody knows what that move is. Except you. Or maybe not even you.

now the link will bring you to analysis with black to move

anyways Qa2+ and Qc2+ both lead to the same position after white moves Qd2 and black plays Rf2+ white takes with Qf2 and black takes back with Qf2+

same position is also reached by either queen check if you want to reach Qb1 or something, which computer says is forced mate in 13 or something

i don't really think there is a reason that Qc2+ is better than Qa2+ other than maybe if you don't play Rf2+ or Qb1 your position is a little better with your queen on c2 than it would have been if your queen was on a2

if you think the answer's not good enough for you then i'm pretty sure you can just report the puzzle
