I am 1300 rapid, I somehow get this feeling that no matter how many puzzles I solve I keep blundering too much all the time and go down the rating ladder after winning some games in row, I keep missing so many tactics despite hitting a massive puzzle rush survival of 40+ (which would be like in 2100s or more), what is my problem here?

There is no time limit in puzzle rush survival. You are probably spending a lot more time on your average puzzle move in survival than you do for your average move of live chess.

Also, a blunder is not necessarily fatal in live chess. It looks like you may be resigning way too early in live chess.

These are only two positions but I don't understand why you resigned.

If this is true that the OP is resigning prematurely, that needs to stop. I expect chess to be a back and forth battle.

Let your opponent prove his win. It’ll be a learning experience for you at the very least. How to defend, create counter attacks with active pieces, find counter play, convert a win after your opponents blunders back, etc…

Here are my last two games I had no business winning but I was able to find back to back checkmates and crossed over 1400:

I have seen many people prematurely resign drawn or favourable positions!

Here I made the mistake of offering a draw in a winning position, and of all situations, it was a tournament lol:

These tactic ratings doesn't mean anything. In your last game which you won (a Kings gambit from the black side) you missed a tactic in the beginngin which in a puzzle you would spot within a few seconds.

How much time do you spend solving a tactics puzzle?
How much time do you spend per move in a game?
The time per move in a game should be more, as in a game nobody tells you there is a tactic, or for which side.

Another issue is that you are blundering.
Always make sure your intended move is no blunder before you play it.

What is your improvement plan?  Are you playing and doing tactics?  Is that it?  you also need to analyze your losses.  Are you doing that?

Coming from me, I know how hard it can be to study chess.   Chess is a game of games.  I'm still struggling with just regularly solving tactics.  In order to improve, one needs to do a lot of things.  Besides Playing, Besides Analyzing losses, besides tactics.

First and foremost, did you know there are different "types" of tactic activities?  There is doing tactics trainer, then, doing a different tactics trainer.  Why is this different?  Different tactics trainers give you different types of puzzles.  The tactics on chesstempo are a completely different flavor than here on chess.com, most of the time at least.

Also, going through a tactics book or tactics program (an app).  Doing predefined tactics sets will help you learn basic ideas.  Then there is the implementation of the woodpecker method.. .

Some tactic training is more hardcore than others.  There is a way on chesstempo to do all the tactics you missed for about a week or whatever time preference you prefer.  that's yet another "type of tactics training program.

Aimchess is a site that gives an analysis of the way you play, as well as gives you a lot of tactics from your own games to solve.  Again, another form of tactics.  Going over key games, this website gave me, as a result to a score I had on a certain category of the platform, allowed me to get a better idea on how to improve.  It's had some bad reviews because the site just offers more tactics, but the types of tactics it offers, I believe, are crucial to employ at varying degrees to vastly improve.

But, as I said, you can go crazy tactics, but you'd need other ways to learn to help with your overall chess growth.  As you know full well, tactics aren't everything.

You also have to study annotated master games.  If you are too cheap to buy a book, then just play guess the move on a high-rated player that is playing live.  Doing one of the two is better than not doing either.

Also, subscribe to a chess magazine or something, or, just read chess.com articles.  Whatever floats your boat.

Those things will help, but there is more.  Too much to say here.

Just because you're able to solve high-level puzzles, it doesn't mean you will be able to recognise these tactical opportunities during an actual game. Out of interest, how long does it normally take you to solve these advanced puzzles? I feel may be using puzzles more of a way to test your tactical awareness, as opposed to improving your tactical recognition.

Regardless, we're roughly the same level and I think here it's normal to think we are always blundering. I know I sure as hell feel the same! But we are still pretty early on in our chess learning so I wouldn't get too hung up about it.
