Yes, Capablanca wrote that too, but that does not mean he said or wrote nothing else.
He authored 6 books and as a world champion he gave interviews and lectures on chess.

It's good to know but the reality is in blitz games or likely even 10 minute rapid I'll run out of time before I could checkmate with a bishop and knight, or even bishop-bishop.  Anything involving a rook I need to be good at.

I have had king and two bishops just once. I was low on time and just could not find a fast way to checkmate so I settled for draw.
