Is it possible to set a board configuration and start playing the game from there against a bot?

as the title says, I would like to know if it is possible to configure a certain board and continue playing against a bot from that configuration.

Yes. If you are in the browser, then set up the moves or the position. Then, click on the bullseye icon in the bottom right which is "Practice versus Computer".

Adding onto Alramech's comment, once you're playing against the computer you can click this icon to change the bot to any of the ones you have available. It defaults to the maximum level engine.
