Just started. Getting very nervous to play and disappointed.

Just play cool, don’t blunder (lose a piece and not be able to take back, mate, etc) then take opponent blunders (don’t take a sacrifice!) and defend with a proper mix of offense to make sure you win neither one of the extremes will get you anywhere so yeah and the one opening you should never play is a4 Ra3 and that should get you to at least 550 elo (I like rapid 10|0 because I make relatively fast moves although when I play slow I do well)
