Keep losing and getting worse - Chess Forums

I’ve been playing online for nearly one year. I played well at first, but now I just keep losing over and over again. I have done tons of puzzles and have a rating of around 1600-1700 on the puzzle section if that actually means anything. Getting really tired and frustrated at not being able to see the “best” move in the middle game. That’s where I seem to fail.
Anyone else have the same experience? If so, how did you get over your slump?

It very well could be a slump or some form of chess tilt which is burning you out. With me it's the other way around: I'm one of the worst puzzle solvers of the world, chess puzzles, the ones in video games etc....I'll never understand why everyone is better at puzzles than me. I try my best but I'm going nowhere in that deparment. I played a few puzzle battle matches and I got down to 150 twice. I can solve 14-15 puzzles there but everyone on THAT level can do that too! From 15 onwards you have to solve 3-4 correct moves in one single puzzle.

Playing chess and finding some tactics is so much easier for me.
