Hello folks,
If what I am asking about exists, please kindly point me in the right direction. I wish Chess.com had tutorial video that introduces player's the Live Chess features and outlined the kind of adjustments that are possible. By chance, I learned from another player that the Live Chess settings can be adjusted to limit or increase the quality/rating of opponents. This seems helpful so that a person can set a challenge level to his or her level of comfort. I also learned there several more settings that can be manipulated to improve the game experience. For example, you can set a confirmation for resignation, which I think is a good idea. Also, there's a premove option, which helps explain how people move so fast in the blitz games. Again, this would be good to know upon joining. Lastly, on another forum, I learned that my desktop can also utilize a move confirmation button, like my Ipad, which I find very useful, as it is easy to make a mistake with the mouse. As a someone who played few games as guest, I never thought to look for such features.
