Learn and apply the most important principles of chess. - (core of my teaching)
Always blunder-check your moves.
Solve tactics in the right way.
Analyze your games.
Study games of strong players.
Learn how to be more psychologically resilient.
Work on your time management skills.
Get a coach if you can.
Based off of your elo, do you encounter scholar’s mate attempts?
if you see a discovered attack on a stronger piece that also leads to a check, do it. For example, if the your bishop is lined up with the enemy queen with a knight blocking their connection that can check the enemy king without the queen taking it, then play that move.
you can also try different openings.
