Please share your ideas to how shall I prepare to be atleast 2000- 2100 rated here Im somewhat 1800+ in rapid here. I like playing e4 and want to get back to English opening as secondary opening and for defense I choose pirc and for d4 I dont gave fixed defense usually its pirc setup d6 c6 setup.

I'm week in endgames and I dont have idea about pawn moves in middle game as I mostly ignore pawn moves which directly dont attack my minor pieces.

I have 3 main questions.

1) Books and chess strategy to prepare for 1-2 hours daily

2) Free chess engines or analysis tool for windows

3) Other resources that can help to gain fast.

++ Do not worry about openings. Always play the same opening, no secondary...

"I'm week in endgames" ++ Study endgames.

"I dont have idea about pawn moves in middle game as I mostly ignore pawn moves which directly dont attack my minor pieces." ++ "My System" Nimzovich

1) Books and chess strategy to prepare for 1-2 hours daily ++ Tactics are more important.

2) Free chess engines or analysis tool for windows ++ Stockfish is free

3) Other resources that can help to gain fast. ++ Most important is to analyse your lost games.

Seek knowledge and improvement, not a rating.  Your rating should chase you, not you chasing it.  You can't build on a weak foundation.  There are no short cuts.

Im not here to chase rating but rating assures that i have learnt and progressed. So I want to learn more n improve. I'm seeking more knowledgeable people out here who can share their experiences with me how they improved and what mistakes I should avoid.
