"Tactics flow from a superior position.” — Bobby Fischer

This being said by one of the greatest tactical players of all time, means a lot.

(but, all in all, it's a matter of personal taste - if you like tactics very much, then go for it - it's only a game. I personally find tactics to be very hard)

The important thing is, quality over quantity - the position of a piece is its value.

(Queen = 9, Pawn = 1, etc.. with all due respect, this is only just a man-made principle, not G-d's word. As we all know, the Ruy Lopez opening used to be the most advantageous way for White to play, a 400 years old opening. Until Kramnik came and broke it on move three with the Berlin Defense - 3...Nf6 - leading to a drawish position - Black can force a draw)

Godspeed everyone.
