Queens Gambit

i love the queen’s gambit and find it easier to apply “principles” than it was for me with 1. e4
in queens gambit the exchange of ...dxc4 opens up 3. e4 and white has the “pawn duo” in center

Awsome170 did you make that video. It was a good one, but that wouldn’t be enough to learn The Who variation.
Yes. I did make that video. I have never heard of The Who variation, but if you would like I can make more videos on other variations for the Queen's Gambit.

Most players don't consider the QGA a true gambit.
The very WORST move black can play is b5, to try and hold the pawn.

The 3rd diagram is black's most equalizing move, although white is still better off overall, but certainly not crushing black.
Black can actually salvage his game in diagram #1 if white doesn't know all the pitfalls of the line... and even lay a subtle trap that will crush white quickly.
But with accurate play black is pretty much toast in diagram #1 and #2
