I'd be interested to hear why coaching is so low, and research so high?

I routinely do puzzles and game analysis everyday.

With regards to coaching, I currently coach two handful of good students to keep myself engaged and continually learning.

Ive experienced bad coaching in the past, so I can see the flip side to it.

Coaching for low level players is kind of a waste of money as there'll be similar information on youtube. Research is high because only you know your playing style and what openings you want to play etc.

Fair enough.  I guess coaching only starts to become useful when you're already familiar with the basics.

I'd suggest starting at like 1200 level.

I think playing a lot of blitz and bullet helped me with the time management as well as allowed me to know well what to do whenever I have little time left, instead of making obvious blunders or panicking. I can say it had a positive impact on my play.

Therefore, I'd give it 3 or 4/10.

if you´re good at tactics and above 1800 id say id move it to 5 or 6/10 because it helps with finding tactics faster

Game analysis is 10 if you do it yourself (and then check it with an engine to see what you missed). If you just press a button, it is worth zero.

Puzzles are 10 of you actually try to solve them. Probably a 3 if you just guess a move.

Playing a bot is exactly the same as playing a human. Why would there be a difference?

I agree with the first two things but playing a bot is very different from playing humans.
