Simple addition to help learn chess annotation

Hello,

I have been having a pleasant experience learning chess on this site.  One thing that could be added that would be very helpful is instead of a generic thunk sound when a piece moves can you add an option where the move is announced like "knight to d5"?  Hearing and seeing would accelerate learning the annotation system for chess.

Thanks in advance

There was a Google Chrome extension that was put together a couple of years ago to do that. It was useful for the people who had physical boards connected, like the DGT boards or those who were vision disabled.

Unfortunately, it seems to be broken at the present time.

You may want to follow the forum for news of that extension.

/ In the meantime, have you tried the Vision Trainer. It tests your ability to point to squares and follow move notation.

That's actually a great idea, I don't know why they don't have that... although in faster time formats and time scrambles it would be kinda interesting... but knowing chess.com I find it hard they will implant something like that
