This is my first post, so don't judge to much, but this is 1 strong chess tactic every beginner should know to improve every chess game they play. Hope this helps! So, this tactic we will be covering will be what chess players call a "fork". A fork is where a piece (such as a bishop or knight ) is attacking two pieces at a time, usually checking the king as one of those pieces. (make sure your attacking piece is protected!) This is a really strong tactic to learn as a chess player to put into thier games. it can make you win the game sometimes if your opponent slips up. best thing to do is to find puzzles on forks and practice them with other tactics, I just thought this one is really cool.
