I came across this really interesting article on how to study openings for beginners. Thought i'd share it. Use it to your advantage!

The article is for beginners that have no idea what to do in order to play in the opening at all. Overall I'd rate the article as being useless to the point of being dangerous.

To understand the opening, you need at least a rudimentary explaination of weak and strong squares, lines of attack, and the importance of lines and diagonals.
