Even my grandma had TV, and she was born in 1925.

It's much more likely that Batgirl was a victim of circumstance than a being a supernatural age.

(Not that TV is so great, but presumably  it would be harder for her  to relate to peers.)

Dude seriously I have no clue about your thoughts anymore 1st you cuss at kids then you say if you’re not a kid then you’re a moron. I’m a kid so I’m not a moron, but you called me a moron on another thread, say what now.

And the social train is back, I like how nobody cares that I joined in the conversation at some point and I didn’t introduce myself

And I like how you could join in the conversation without all the fuss of introductions.   Color you fuggy.

Yes I do too, if you can go to https://www.chess.com/forum/view/community/my-name-got-changed-to-butttiger-but-it-was-meant-originally-as-the-animal-not-the-anatomy?page=2, and see what mariners did please mute him someday he is such a prick. Woolensock I get why you say thumbs up or down.png always now this is for mariners THUMBDWON.PNG

What?

I don't even know what you're saying.

Your account was made in 2012, so even if it was made when you were 5, you're at least
~12 years old. Try to speak comprehensibly.

Oh, now that I check it was made in 2016. I guess I was confusing you with someone else. I'll be nicer to you now.

fuggycolor

I fixed it saying an, happy?

Maybe. I'm not a child. I was born in Dec. 1973.  I think the world wide web was created when I was about 18 or 19.  I got the internet when I was about 22.  it was just starting. Even after it was created, the interfaces were primitive and it took a while before user friendly browsers, and interesting content, were developed.   You might say I got in on the ground floor.  It was impossibly slow too. I took 5 minutes to download a 1 MB file.

TVs were around when I was little, but we just never had one. I lived in the city and remember stopping in stores where they sold TVs and watching the display models.

This IS the thread to be social - and presumably sociable.

@fuggycolor i don’t think mariners is 100% a prick i’ve seen some things he says in TSOE he can be civil and intelligent, but i also read a convo with all those ‘big brain’ people that stated he can’t see anything but negatives, so a pessimist being foul isn’t out of the ordinary, just let whatever is said roll off your back.. or however that saying goes

Thanks. Sometimes I am a jerk though.

That wasn't a conversation, that was just one guy who said it, and he's an enormous moron.

For example I had to remind him multiple times that chess.com gives us alerts when a new comment is posted... but after a few weeks he forgets I guess, so multiple times he thought I was stalking him because he didn't understand how I could find and respond to his posts.

An adult being sociable at a daycare only builds stress. You eventually have to go have an adult conversation somewhere with someone.

Having said that, I admit it's 100% my fault for coming back to chess.com forums over and over as if it's going to be any different.

Hawaiian_King
usually surrounding yourself with kids can cheer someone up, just be sociable at the “daycare” instead of trying to run it and it’ll be less stressful
mariners234

A better solution, IMO, is to not show up in the first place.

If I want to socialize, then I should find a place I enjoy.

Hawaiian_King
whatever works for you dude, what kind of places do you enjoy?

Sounds reasonable to me.
