silman's complete endgame course is a good book for endgames and Chess: 5334 Problems, Combinations and Games by laszlo polgar is a good book for training your tactical/pattern awareness.
Books aren't really a priority at your rating though. Puzzles and being aware of your opponents moves and what squares yours and your opponents pieces cover as well as not making one move blunders will take you further than any book could.
