Hello. I should’ve asked about this a long time ago. I don’t understand how to use this information. I understand that + is a good move and that - is a bad move. In this particular game, I won, but with at least one missed one, several mistakes and several blunders.

I can’t look at the game review for my inaccuracies, because I accidentally downgraded my account.

Download the Chessis app. You can import your games and check the review there. I started doing this recently and it helps a lot.

So in short. +1.0 means white has a advantage which equals to one pawn. On the other side -1.0 means black has the advantage.
But you can not rely only on the engines evaluation, you have to understand the position. A position can be won for a computer but sometimes a human can hardly find those moves. In other words a position which is according to the computer is good or equal can be very hard to play for a human.

+ is always white. - is always black

+3 is better than +1 for white

-3 is better than -1 for black

It's best when you are thinking of the best move when you are stuck and then compare it to the engine. Also if it says forced mate in 4, it'll tell you the line if you can't see it. If you have a decent memory, you might remember the pattern and use it in a different game.
