Very stagnant rating for 2 years

I am by no means looking to become a professional chess player, but I have been within a range for 2 years now.  I know I have not topped out in rating, but I cannot seem to figure out what I need to work on.

Can anyone suggest some ways for me to figure out what my weaknesses are (besides everything)?

Tactics. You can easily reach at least 1500 USCF just by purely studying tactics. Use the tactics trainer here on chess.com and don’t move a piece until you have thought of the entire solution and possible opponent responses.

I will keep drilling away at the puzzles.  I feel like I'm doing fairly well.  I can manage to stay above 1800 rating on the puzzles, but maybe I'll start to do more of them.

I'm curious, I've had a look at some of your lost rapid games, these are 10 minute games yet you are either resigning or just giving up on a position that is neither won or lost, sometimes with 8 or 9 minutes on the clock, why? Are you aware of that?

Stop worrying about a stupid number and just enjoy the game.  Play in Guest Mode.
