The first number is the base time and the second one is the number of seconds added to a player's clock after their move

10 is the time per side and the 15 is the increment

In 10/15, 10 is a actual time and 15 is just added, there is not difference in 25 or 10/15.

Well, no. Each player is not given 25 minutes in a 10/15 game. They start with 10 minutes. Every time they move, 15 seconds is added.

#9 the increment is the amount of seconds added each move…

In a 10 | 15 game, Players start on 10 minutes, And when a move is made, That player's clock increases by 15 Seconds. The 15 here is called the Increment. Hope that helped!

In chess, "10 | 15" refers to a time control used in a game. It tells you how much time each player has to make their moves. Here's what it means:

"10" = Each player starts with 10 minutes on their clock.
"15" = Each player gets an extra 15 seconds added to their clock after every move (this is called the increment).
So, "10 | 15" means:
You start with 10 minutes.
Every time you make a move, you gain 15 seconds back on your clock.
This time control helps prevent players from losing just because they run out of time, especially in long games, as the 15-second increment gives them a small buffer each turn.
