I have plenty of starts and finishes in the bag, but mid game is where I struggle. Anyone else?

100%. I've played many games, average 260 elo, and once I reach 300 elo I drop back down because of horrible middlegame fumbles. Check out gothamchess, he has a whole video covering how to make plans in the middlegame.
