why is this not checkmate? help!!!

i’m a beginner so would love to know why this didn’t lead to a checkmate? i was playing white against the computer, thank you so much!! :))))

If it was a draw, then I suspect it is a stalemate as this is among frequently asked questions here (though I can't say for sure without the game). Stalemate is when the opponent have no legal moves and his king is not in check.
