A brilliant move is a hard move for the engine to spot, or a sacrifice that involves winning material or forced checkmate. You had a better option ,so it was not brilliant.

I sacked my rook and checkmated 6 moves later because of it. I’m new to chess so just wondering about what makes a brilliant move
