Game 1 when i was up a rook i was able to hunt down his king while keeping my own safe and set up a "queen and helper" mating net. Game 2 I didn't waste much time and was developing my pieces, castling, and not hemming in too many pieces. It's good to castle. And make sure to do it before your king sees danger!

In game 1 21.Qxd4 is a blunder

I think the title ought to be "Why you shouldn't hang rooks."

had he castled i would have no decisive attack

I guess. O-O was better than Qxd4

What about a hanging checkmate threat?

i'd love it if those pieces were an option in theme settings!

Castling is useless after you traded Queen, 1 Rook and at least 1 Minor piece

Do you have any advice when to castle on whether king's or queen's side?
