In a store the other day I saw a Simpson set where, obviously, the family made the pieces & the pawns were kids from the series (like Millhouse & Ned's kids). It was pretty funny actually...!
Create a Fantasy Set and Show Us

Oh noo Mebeme. Have you uploaded pictures before?
It involves that button.
Also - Amazing work Fairy! I really like the Ninja side of the set. I wish I had one of those for sure... too cool.

This one is in honor of mysticaldragonmagic, who cannot access a computer to make her own, and convinced me to do this chess set instead of just a normal StarWars (I was saying I didn't know who should be what peices, and she said "Anakin, Anakin, Anakin, Anakin, Anakin, and Anakin!")
Anakin-side!

I don't have the other side made, 'cause she told me that on the black side (anakin's white) that there had to be Padme and Yoda, and Yoda had to be the queen. But, then, I didn't know who the other characters whoud be.
p.s. she thinks yoda's evil and it's all his fault. And Padme didn't help any either. Oh, and Padme was not allowed to be queen on Anakin's side....

Ok.. this is lame but seeing as i just wasted 30 minutes on it..
Of course in real life they'd be paper mache and look really classy.

Haha that's fantastic, Oginschille. It would be even better if the pieces could whisper advice to the player using the set - although maybe they'd have trouble getting along...
I tend to think the Heaven v. Hell concept would be pretty cool...
Though, I would probably do something like [since I don't have time to find .jpegs right now]
Heaven:
Pawns => Priests
Rooks => Cathedrals
Knights => Knights Templar
Bishops => Angels
Queen => Arch-Angel
King => Some representation of a "God"
Hell:
Pawns => Skeletons
Rooks => Mausoleums
Knights => Horsemen of the Appocalypse
Bishops => Demons
Queen => Queen Mary I of England [simply because she's more recognizable than Countess Elizabeth Bathory or Queen Isabella I of Castille.]
King => Lucifer
That ain't gonna work. Jesus always wins.
