The sniper. Moves one square every 2 moves; if an enemy minor piece/pawn hasn't moved for at least 4 moves, the sniper can capture it. If the enemy queen doesn't move for 10 turns, the sniper can capture it, and if the enemy king doesn't move for 20 moves, you win automatically. It starts on a1.
Special skill of the sniper: Mark. You can mark an enemy piece after 2 moves. (5 for the queen, 10 for the king. This does use up a turn, and the target doesn't have to be still for you to mark it.) A marked piece can be captured in half the time of an unmarked piece (it must remain immobile to be captured by the sniper. Snipers cannot capture moving pieces.) and if a marked piece moves within 4 squares of a sniper, the sniper can capture it in the very next turn. You can have up to two marked pieces at once. HOWEVER: if you mark a piece, the sniper cannot capture an unmarked piece until the marked one gets captured.
