It's called bullet because it is a speedy type of chess, plus, with the "manipulating", it's not really you affecting them, it's you doing something after the stimulus of a player's move to carry out a plan that you want to be accomplished. Lastly, with the "attack" and "armageddon", armageddon is called that because a blunder could very well ruin the game, where survival in a real armageddon is also split-second and is to be proceeded with caution. The attack also means another thing, taking the offensive, and that just means you are using your pieces to try and open areas for a strategy to work.

Also, this does help in a way, it can be used to help people focus, and to hep teach kids about coordinate grids, plus, if it is so bad, why do schools have chess clubs?
