I used to enjoy chess until I stopped improving. After that, the love faded and frustration settled in.

As with everything else in life, chess is a painful reminder of my eternal mediocrity in everything I do. Im taking a break currently, though I still feel the pull from time to time, I have to learn to see the game in a different way.
