#1 1.d8=King! Ke6 (c6) 2.Rb2 (f2) Kd6 3.Rb6 (f6)#

#2 1...h2 2.Nc3 h1=white rook! 3.0-0 mate!

#3 Place black king on b8 and stalemate with Qc6!

#4 Pick up the white king!

#5 g8=black knight!

#6 White gave rook odds at the beginning of the game, but argues that that doesn't mean he gave up the right to castle. He plays 1.0-0-0! (Kc1) and wins

#7 e8=black king! Kd8 Qd7 checkmating both kings!

it's too bad FIDE rules say you can only promote to a piece of your own color. lessens a player's creative ability, like in #5

Rcxb2?

Set up the board so that:

a) Black still has sixteen pieces.

b) White has only the King, a Rook, and a Bishop.

c) The position could technically happen in Standard Chess.

d) White to move and win, but in no less than 30 moves.

Ok. Hard challenge. Set 2 pawns and both kings in the board so that:

1.It's stalemate.

2.The pawns don touch, are not double pawns and should not promote in the next move.

3. The king is away from the side.

4. The king is not directly in front of the king or:

(White)Ke6, e7,Ke8(Black) is NOT ALLOWED. and

5.Every piece must participate in the "stalemating".

Variation of chess:

Promoting a pawn to a king:

After obtaining a second king, you are now allowed to move either king in check, and do not lose unless your last king is checkmated (after you lose your other king(s)).
