Help me beat crafty!

I've been trying to beat crafty on full strength for about 4-5 months now, and I've never come close. The most moves I've managed to get were about 46 moves before being checkmated which is pretty sad. I am a serious chess player and I have been playing for about a year and a half, but only recently became very serious about it.

The set up:

I would like to think this is the best position I've been in against crafty 16 moves in and I need help finding the best moves from this position.

The game so far:

I am black and my plan is to apply pressure to the white king with the rook, queen, and bishop in hopes of mating early. Unfortunately, I am not very good and I am not really certain if my position is secure enough to even try mounting an attack on the white king. I am sick and tired of getting owned constantly by Crafty and I would love to see it defeated!! Also, criticism is very very welcomed and appreciated on all moves so far!

You are down a piece with no clear threats and it is 2300.  Sorry, but the best move is to resign.

There's no point in trying to beat something so strong right now.  It takes anyone years of serious study and/or experience to reach that level.  No amount of luck can cut it.  If you want a challenge that you could reasonably content with, spot the computer ~300 points or something.  Otherwise it's just going to be the same result every time and it won't be very fun or instructive.

I've come to the same conclusion, honestly. I think my best bet is to just put this position into another computer and see how it plays it.

I stopped playing chess computers ages ago. It's too depressing.

I want to get at least one win against this thing with the help of some of you masters or strong players out there, just to know it is possible and to learn something. I put this position in against crafty itself, black came out losing pretty badly 32 moves later. So with that, I think there is no hope for this position anyway, ah well.

If you plan to beat a computer, don't sacrifice any material unless you see a concrete plan following it.  Computers are much better at calculating tactics and much weaker in positional understanding.

(Then again, they can go through so many lines so quickly it doesn't matter anymore.)

dont give away pawns and pieces.

ive seen plenty of computers malfunction in a slow position, maybe try a stonewall or london. though im not sure how good crafty is positionally.

I have beaten engines at 2000 level a few times. The method is:

endgame, endgame, endgame. Go for the endgame. Engines still make some amazing blunders and misassessments in endgames. Just make sure you have a win before it gets down to tablebases!!!!!!!
