Illegal Position Contest!

Hopefully this is illegal
This must be the time of year to be hopeful. I don't guess it could hurt.

#7895, a simple triangulation to reach the position with white to move after move 39 could have not only made it a full move, but it would have been a nice even 40 moves long!!! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

EvinSung's position has been confirmed legal.
The pawn's supposed to be on d6, not d5
and that?
Which post's illegality are you disproving? I can't see them in the past 20 posts.

This is a common trick puzzle, because it appears in a semi-famous book, but is it possible for this position to be reached with white to move?
sorry for replying like 7 years late but 1. Nf3 2. e6 3. Ng1 4. e5: white's turn

Why would you even want to repeat an answer that has been posted by others at least a dozen times?
Very clever, but why the Black king on e7? It would still have been illegal without it.
(Shouldn't the final position be 1/2-1/2 by the way? It's stalemate.)
Hopefully this is illegal
