#2 is not legal, since there are nine queens AND a pawn. Without the pawn, it is legal, but since nine is the most you can get, and White could get a tenth, not legal.

I don't know if this is legal. Is it? I think it is.

It's a draw, but sure, the position is legal to get to.  The last move was Kxa1 or Kxa8, capturing a rook or queen.

Umm....

Obviously illegal; pawns can't cross each other without captures.

King and queen wrong side of each other as well...

The board is the other way around (see the coordinates); White's pieces are on the eighth rank.

you saw my trick... dang it....

Easy.

Obviously this is illegal, but if it is white to move, can you find a way to make it NOT a stalemate?
AussieMatey

1. dxc5 en passant or dxe5 en passant or White resigns.

finn416

Man, idk.

Now. Here is one I already posted but with special conditions.

#1.It is White to move.

#2.Only knights and kings moved, and kings only moved when they were in check(They always had to move to the left(only when it was legal), didn't matter if they could legally move elsewhere.).

#3.There is one invisible piece that broke rule #2 that made it to a2 in the diagram.(Not a knight or pawn!)

#4.The kings were never attacking any opponent pieces.

Is it legal? Undecided

Remellion

Illegal. The piece on a2 has to be white (wK cannot attack black pieces) but it is white to move - what was black's last move then? Must have been with the king on a8 from b8 (b7?), but no white piece could have delivered a check to make the black king move to a8.
