Their pre-match feeling was mutual. Nigel Short called him "the rug" coz of his hairy body.

Short acted like an obnoxious immature crybaby considering the fact that Kasparov got him the biggest paycheck of his life.

What i really liked about this match was that Short showed he was fearless of kasparov as he exposed the quirks in Kasparovs armour. Although he lost, he showed fighting chess compared as to what anand did in 95 according to pundits.
