Lucario's Queen Sacrifice.

This is the picture of Lucario, the Sir Aaron's version from Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, sacrificing his queen to win the chess game against Toshineko Hirozaki, my feline villain character. Based on the puzzle on chess.com, Toshineko expected Lucario to play Bxe4, but, after thinking about it, Lucario had a much better move, which was Qxh6+ shown in this picture. Why this move?

Hint: Rh4 is not mate.

This is the last time I post this, since someone, not gonna name who, decided that having subs on his YouTube channel was way more important than the brilliance that is the queen sacrifice in this picture.

Just post the position so others can enjoy it... ok so you like commissioning furry art, good for you, but this is a chess site so posting it over and over is a little weird.

Sure thing. I just hope there are chess players out there that can admire on how beautiful this sacrifice is, especially from a Pokemon against a genius feline villain. happy.png

Aside from the chessboard, what does this have to do with chess?

Oh, I couldn't figure it out because of the last move.

This has to do with chess, because of the art of sacrificing your queen to gain a checkmate on your opponent's king. Plus, this picture is a symbolism of a hero outwitting the villain. I know about the cliche wish was ''chess players are strategic thinkers'' and, well, this was how it's portrayed with Lucario and Toshineko battling each other in a mental and literal game of chess for my fanfiction idea. happy.png

You are correct! Though, you miss the final blow, and it includes your white knight.

After that d5 Qxd5 Bxd5 wins the queen, but because white started out down a piece that doesn't work.

Plus I really love Lucario's cute and smug smile at Toshineko's shocked expression. Guess this is what happens when a Pokemon is trained by Alexander Alekhine, or Mikhail Tal, or even Magnus Carlsen. lol

Plus I had an idea for this dialogue:

Toshineko: ''Na-nani!? A queen sacrifice!? I don't believe it...''

Lucario: ''Heh, you ever hear about the difference between a good sacrifice and mine, Toshineko?''

However, in order to truly appreciate the beauty that is that queen sacrifice, we're gonna look at the position before this move:  https://chess.com/puzzles/problem/44018 In this position, black took the bishop on g5 with the knight. What would be the next move for white?
