Chess knightmax - knights move in a slightly longer 'l-shape' as well as the way they move now. For example, a knight on g1 could move to e2, f3, or h3 as it can now, but could also move to d2, f4 or h4. It would make knights a lot more powerful, but still sneaky and tricky!
New Chess Style

Chess bishmax - bishops are able to move one square along a rank or file before they set off as well as the way they move now. For example, a bishop on f1 could move to e2, d3, c4, b5, a6, g2, or h3 as it can now, but it could also move to e1, d2, c3, b4, a5, f2, e3, d4, c5, b6, a7, g3, h4, g1, and h2. It would make bishops a lot more powerful, and increase the complexity of the game for computers by a significant amount, while not making it much more difficult for humans to visualise.
Does anyone here want to invent a new chess style? Just put in how you want to change the game. For example:
Chess 960- Normal piece value and mobility. The pieces on the back row for both players are randomized in one of 960 combinations, and they are symmetrical on both player's sides.
Say another style!
