Screenshot into custom

I’d like to suggest a feature that could enhance the user experience for players who study games or positions from external sources.

Feature Idea:
Allow users to upload a screenshot of a chessboard, and have the system automatically recognize the board state and set it as a custom position for analysis or play.

Use Cases:

Instantly analyze a position seen on social media, books, or other platforms
Avoid manual piece placement, especially for complex mid-game setups
Enable quick importing for lessons, puzzles, or recreating famous positions
Potential Flow:

User uploads an image or screenshot of a board
The system uses image recognition (OCR + board detection) to interpret the position
The board is populated in the Analysis/Custom Position tool
User confirms and can edit before saving
This feature would make studying and sharing positions even more accessible — and could be a unique offering in the online chess world.
