Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we will be ranking the top 10 ways to be toxic in online chess. If you haven't ever heard of grass, then employ as many of these strategies as you can!
#1: Send an emoji multiple times in chat as soon as you know you have the game in the bag. Subtle, but gets the job done!
#2: If you are down on material, spam draw requests! If you manage to win later, your opponent will regret not accepting.
#3: If you are clearly worse than a player, rematch them until you beat them once. Don't rematch them after beating them even if they offer it.
#4: Stall when you're winning! Feel free to let your opponent reflect on the L they just received.
#5: Stall when you're losing! I take no responsibility for the poor souls who got banned attempting this!
#6: Instead of going for an immediate checkmate, promote pawns to as many knights as possible and deliver checkmate in a way that your opponent will never forget.
#7: Point out every single move they missed! In a way, they will thank you for helping them improve as a player.
#8: If you think your opponent is annoyed after their loss, strike up a conversation about how a growth mindset would be more useful than raging.
#9: Before rematching, take a screenshot of your opponent's profile picture and make it yours to annoy them.
#10: When you beat someone, reply to all their forum posts with the checkmate you got!
