What have you won playing chess?

A few years back while both me and my room mate packed and prepared to move out and go our separate ways, the question as to who would keep our one and only pawn shop store bought TV came to mind.

We were both avid players and decided to settle it with a game of chess.

I won the match and so kept the TV.

I was just wondering what sort of prizes besides trophies and or cash payouts any of you had won?

 smokes, lunch money, push ups, drinks.

done won everything off a chess buddy during desert storm...he was down to his last dehydrated pork steak....he put that up, i lost on purpose

I've never played for anything but bragging rights.

I won £50 once in a regional competition.

Yesterday I won $30 at a local tournament. About 2 years ago I won a trophy at my old chess club's tournament.

I make about 2000 euro a year, obviously not enough for a living.

That's quite impressive though . Is that just from entering regional/club tournaments? I'd have thought you'd have to play quite a few in a year to make a couple thousand euro from them...I haven't seen many tournaments that pay particularly well.
