Pink Floyd, The Beatles, the Doors, The Kinks, George Winston (assorted), Elton John, etc....

I really enjoy playing chess to music, it so relaxing.

I like (to name them randomly in an assortment) Duke Ellington, Les Brown, Maurice Ravel, Louis Armstrong, Claude Debussy, and almost any jazz that has piano in it.

I used to listen to music, and found out really fast, that i dont concentrate anywhere near enough to be able to listen to music.

Bump!

I am bumping this thread for 2 reasons:

1) I saw some other thread, obviously started by a troll, talking about if girls are dumb. And in the first 12 hours, it has nearly caught up with this, much more interesting and benefical, thread. It seems a shame.

2) This song:

I was at a group interview yesterday for a (name of hotel casino here) and among the 15 people in the group, one of the women's name, as she wanted to be called, was sunshine. I never knew that could be someone's name, or alias in a real life setting! And no, December_Twentynine is not my name.

Man, I know they say classical is supposed to 'sooth' you, but that would be way more distracting than this:

Was listening to this with my 6.yo. daughter yesterday. In the middle of it she asked me 'What is backstreet ribbon?'.Laughing

I explained to her the phrase was 'Back seat rhythm'. She asked what 'rhythm' meant. I explained it to her.

She thought about it for a few seconds and said 'Oh, she likes to dance in the back seat. Me too.'Frown

Well, there are benefits that outweigh things like this.

As soon as my daugher was old enough to walk and carry things, I started sending her to the fridge to get my beer.Laughing
