i think i like the positions where you have mate in several moves and there is no escape even though its not forced...

I like the moment when you have full grip on the position and there is only one way to go... not necessarily materially but it can only end in one way...

everything is cool, i also like learning but lastly i cant concentrate anymore that ruins the fun. I mean i was a blunderer before but its still really annoying.

I also like when you anticipate a move and you opponent things he is winning when he thinks like 3 moves deep but you think 5 moves deep oer deeper and know your opponent things he will win but in reality you tought deeper and trapped him...

Seriously i think my favorite part is when you know what your opponent wants exactly and you can counter it and even use it to your advantage....

my fave part about chess is when you know you are going to win also my fave part about chess is that the game is like a puzzle and there are many ways to sole that puzzle

it's a good way to unwind your mind after a long day; just play against teh computer that way it doesn't affect your rating when you make mindless moves.

when i was losing and my opponent plays badly and i won

What I like about chess is that it's only way I can succeed in mating someone else.

Favorite thing?

When I finish an amazing book I find myself closing it and just sitting there thinking of how great it was. I leave the book closed in my hands and marvel at the world I just witnessed and the adventure that I was taken upon. For me, chess is often the same. After a great game I just sit there; I sit at the board and just stare. Win or lose I marvel at the battle I just fought and celebrate such a great game with those around me.

My favorite thing?

The feeling I get, win or lose, by playing the game.

My favorite thing in chess. It is something very easy to achieve, and yet very rarely do I get to do it. It is the thrill I get when my opponent blunders his/her Queen away, and I take it with 1 of my pieces ( preferably the pawn) for FREE!!!

I couldn't disagree with phylar. chess is same for me. Often after the match, I go back to the game and get in awe of its beauty. Last night I got a royal beating from a much higher rated player. I didn't play good. I have visited that game twice since then and still mesmerized by its beauty.

The tactics, definitely the tactics.

Winning a losing position by a magnificent swindle / tactic.

I hate it, it is a horrible addiction that nags at my soul to return for more punishment.
