As of now, my goal is to reach 2000 level by the end of 2023!
Whats your dream elo goal

I'm kinda stuck right now so I finally started doing stuff like studying and analyzing games....hopefully that will help. If I it looks like I can make some decent progress I'll probably aim for 1850 or so (rapid, and whatever that lands me in blitz and bullet)
EDIT: hit 1900 rapid on my alt on 8/4 yay

This one sounds really dumb, but I’m trying to get to 1000 elo since I’m currently stuck at 350s (since I’m bad at chess lol)

I don't think that is dumb at all! My account is new here, but I started playing on chess.com earlier, on an account that I deleted. I remember I was quite happy the first time I reached 1100 rating. I think reaching 1000 is significant progress for a beginner.

It's been a while but I see you've made a lot of progress yay!

Aww thanks. Sorry for not responding earlier; Looks like I accidentally turned off notifications!

1600. The problem is right now I'm about 1750 and have been for a few years.
I feel like 1500 to 1600 is about average. And if there is one thing that I don't want, it's to be above average at chess. That is not a good look.

Wdym. I don't know your mindset but why so? I mean according to me that is a good look.

Because people who play chess really well are looked at differently, like there is something wrong with them. It's better to play well, than to play very well.
I dont play much online chess anymore. I play irl. But the online tactics and lessons have made a big difference. People I used to play evenly with I now have to hold back on. I don't want to be seen as "that person". That's just my take on it anyway.
mine is 1500.
whats yours?
