Something I wish chess.com would fix... A game is supposed to be drawn by repetition if the same position is reached 3 times. This is interesting to know though. Thanks for sharing.

You need to claim the draw, as in OTB.
As it has been explained many times on the forums, you must click the Draw button after 3 repetitions in order to claim a draw. It's not given to you automatically. Your opponent eventually figured out to hit the button; that's why the game was drawn.
WOW. That was quite a game.
Why did you take the draw...that's so stupid... with the queen on f7 and the king on d6, 0-0 wins on the spot, with the threat of Rd1, and Qxg8 leads to a piece up endgame... why is this game even wothry of an article...

Most of us are annoyed when someone repeatedly check us wherein our only option is to move in the same square until we ran out of time. For fun's sake I tried doing it in one of my games and to my surprised, it turned out I am the victim of my own troll.
