How are ratings graphed?

never mind- i thought this was a thread about about the great cellist

I've lost about 150 rating points in 13 games against people either slightly higher rated than I, or a little lower rated than I. In all my losses I have been completely outplayed, as if the loss of another 150 rating points is inevitable. I find it strange.

And I thought this was a thread about the great Duncan:

Yes. Can gain 100 points in 24 hours and lose 100 points the next 24 hours.

So my glicko rd should be 100. lol.
