Is there something I'm missing in game one? I just keep staring at it. If the resignation is "a bit premature" then I had an abortion yesterday.Smile

An abortion?  Punny....

I agree that it was "premature", though, because white may be able to get an attack on the kingside.  At the very least, white should have played a bit longer to confirm that it's lost.  Nevertheless, good game guguloiul.

What does "Punny" mean? Is White lost? What do you mean by "a bit longer to confirm"? Seriously, I don't see what you maybe seeing.

In the second you win with 28... Kg7 (29 Qe5+ Kh7).

I agree.

From looking at these two games I'd say the weakest part of your game seems to be the centre of the board.  You're just letting white have it!    Keep in mind the centre's where all the action is!  Espescially for knights (who don't have the long-ranged ability of bishops and rooks), you NEED to keep them in the middle of the board so that no matter where interesting things are happening, your knights can have an impact on them.   But in order to keep knights in the middle of the board (and not have the opponent just kick them around with his pieces and pawns), you need pawns of your own in the middle to support the knights.

For your next few games I suggest you try aggressively putting your knights and pawns in the middle of the board and seeing how that works out.
