1500s aren't anywhere even close to that bad even on this site. My blitz rating is something like 800, my live rating is below 1300, and there is no way in the universe I would put together a game like that. So, don't let your faith in humanity be shaken. It's just a goofy set-up they put together.
Which, by the way, was what my question was about. I was just wondering if they planned everything move-by-move in advance, or were in the same room, or what, since it would be basically impossible to do it via chat at such quick time controls.
