Your opponent's game ended with 14 Qa4+.
20 Qxg7 was just about as bad.
After your 24... Qf5, White is going to be mated regardless, so the insta-mate only sped up the process, e.g.
24 ... Qf5
25 Qe3 d4
White has to give up the Queen to slow mate down by a few moves.
