A King Gambit Masterpiece
A very entertaining and wild game! This is just what the KGA is all about
You could have had them in trouble sooner with 8. Bd5! instead of Bxf7+, but why spoil the fun - Bxf7+ is what these openings are all about! Black could have helped themselves with 12... Kf8 instead of Be7 - in fact they would probably be winning. And I'm not sure what they were thinking with c5? That was just inviting your knight in to the party - you could have played Nb5 straight away.
Now here's a cute continuation to add to the mix - instead of 19. Nb5 what about Rxd6+! If the king takes back, then it is mate in 2 with Nb5+ and either Kxd5 Qe4# or Kd7 Qh3#. If black turns down the rook then (according to my software!) it's mate in 9 (Kc7) or 10 (Kc8) moves.
Nxd6+ is a lovely move, and black is completely crushed. Great game - thanks for sharing it!
