Analyse my game. :D
your game is without a plan...If you had a plan, then the game would be over within 25 to 30 moves.
This game went to almost 50 moves.
I would say you have to improve your tactical game plan.
use a creative setup, and then fire your tactics into action.
If you loose, at least, you lost with a plan:)
Thanx for the reply but it would be better if you give an example of a plan or tactic i could hav played.
well after the 9th move(white 0-0)
I would push a pawn down the h file..., perhaps use the safety of the 7th rank for my king, then get rooks to the king side.
also get my knights to concentrate on the king side, perhaps sacrifice one to open a file, then pin and skewer my way into position, and mate.
something usually break, and i had noticed that a good sacrifice give you good value in attack, perhaps it would be too late to defend, and a surprise is better than many other ideas, I'm not an expert, but if you know allot of crazy mating moves, then such an idea wouldn't be that far fetched.
If it doesnt work, then at least a king on the run could be used to equalize on material that was lost...
perhaps it seem little aggressive, but its a plan.
The more tactical moves you know, the greater the chance to see things that your opponent missed.
doesn't the rook exchange win for black?
i haven't torn it all apart yet, but black wins the b pawn out of it, and should be able to pick off the g pawn when the white king makes the obligatory run to the black side of the board...
his pawns are too poorly structured to survive, I think... I'd have played that one out if I was black...
I'm not entirely sure since noone can calculate this untill the end but I'm pretty sure exchanging rooks could win for black, although I might have also gone for a draw here as it's pretty uncertain. Probably shouldnt pay too much attention to the B pawn as it allows the white king to get near your own pawns but if you play say,
Re2+ - Rd2
Rxd2+ - Kxd2
Kd4 - Kc2(assuming he will try to cover his pawn and if not continue on)
f5 - xf5
Ke5
There might be a result that could have happened, I'm not sure how to play that all out, maybe try running it in a chess engine?
