Analysis 101 help? Stockfish question

thx guys for the quick replys, maybe this is easier with the screenshots
ok so we're on move 14, and on the first pic, on the bottom left and bottom right, it shows 17 for both and what does "17>+" mean and again why are they both 17?
on the next shot it shows bottom left 17 and bottom right 18?
also what does the "(1/16) mean?
thanks again for the help if anybody wants to do somewhat of a break down of the bottom right and bottom left fields, piece by piece, it would be a great help, thx again

-snaps the ipad in half- that takes care of that
:-) thx for the link, i'll definatley check it out, looks very in depth. as you can see i'm not very advanced in my chess play, so it is a big help to have my ipad and run some basic chess analysis on the go, anywhere. Really all i need to build my foundation right now. thx again

hehehe yeah np powerful to because it uses the servers hardware so no stress on your Ipad :3
no kidding! and i quote
"You may notice that Stockfish uses all of your CPU cores and/or causes your computer to run a little warm. This is normal behavior. All chess engines need to use your CPU in order to calculate and evaluate positions."
BUMP - anybody care to take a shot at a basic/ simple breakdown of the bottom left and bottom right notation lines on the screenshots above? thx in advance
I don't know if you've got an answer, but I'm too lazy to read all the above messages... Lemme just break down the message. And yes, I know this is an old post.
"04:49" 22 d4 (5/29) 84750 kN 277.3kN/s"
- 4:49 - Engine has been searching for this long.
- 22 - Engine has reached a depth of 22 ply. (1 ply = 1/2 move).
- d4 - Engine's suggested move.
- (5/29) - Engine currently searching the 5/29'th move of the next ply.
- 84750 kN - Engine has searched approximately 82750000 nodes aka. positions (k = kilo = 1000 -> kN = 1000 nodes = 1000 positions).
- 277.3 kN/s - Engine is currently searching at a speed of approximately 277300 positions per second.
ok, so i'm trying to understand exactly what's happening when analyzing a position with stockfish on my ipad, i can't find a help me on it, for example, i'm noticing on the bottom left the first number increases, so right now it says
20 < -0.2
1. what exactly does the first increasing number mean? "20"
2.then "
3. and if i understand the "-0.2" anything positive means white is winning, negative black is winning, "1 equalling 1 pawn advantage respectively?
4.on the bottom right for example
"04:49" 22 d4 (5/29) 84750 kN 277.3kN/s"
can someone break that down for me?
22 ?
(5/29) ?
kN ?
kN/s ?
thanks in advance, i'm really trying to understand this, any help is appreciated :-)
